What Is On My Mind Today?

Aromatherapy is not something new to treat many of our health issues we are experiencing today, but over the years we have become dependant on man-made synthetic prescription medications. Essential oil  is a natural way to help our children cope with autism, so many children on prescription medications are experiencing nasty side-effects which is never a good thing. I am not saying there is not a place for prescription medications in our children’s lives, but what I am saying is why not try the natural approach with essential oils which has been working since the beginning of time.

I just started using essential oils last year when I started making my own lotions and soaps. It’s amazing to me how beneficial they can be for so many things! I definitely believe that you can find almost everything you need to be healthy from nature in one form or another. This was a great article showing the benefits of essential oils for autism and can help many people.

I am a very big fan of essential oils and really believe they can help a lot people. I’ve found that lavender oil really calms children. I put a few drops in my sons bath water and they were very calm that evening!
But I don’t have any experience with the other oils you mentioned. Although I’m curious, how do you use the Frankincense oil when you treat it for constipation? My 2.5 year old has struggled with constipation for a very long time and I would love to try this.

      Thank You,

I appreciate you reading my article post and commenting, you can treat so many health issues with the use of essential oils. I prefer using essential oils before going to prescription meds, I am sorry to hear your child struggles with constipation.

Add one to two drops of oil to eight ounces of water or to a tablespoon of honey for constipation and digestive issues.

Aromatherapy is not for everyone, but I would hope every person would at least give it a good try. When you use the right essential oil for you the benefits are amazing, lavender is one of my favorites as well I even grow some in my flower garden.

Great post! I love using essential oils and knowing they can help autistic children (I assume adults too) is very helpful! I have friends and relatives who are coping with autism and I will be happy to pass them along. You mentioned cedarwood should not be taken internally. Do you recommend on the skin? Or only in a diffuser? I have not used that particular one before. Thanks for your info!

      Thank You

I appreciate you visiting my website and commenting, essential oils are a natural and pure way for all of us any age to cope better with our health. God put these plants on the earth for this reason, I love how  people are finally starting to use them the way they are meant to be.

Cedarwood should be used in a diffuser and not taken internally or on your skin. I write more about how the essential oils helps children, because I am devoted to helping all children and especially children with health problems such as autism and other disorders.
